Years of hard work pays off as students secure their next steps
Today marks a moment of celebration across the THPT family as Year 13 students receive their results.
Three secondary THPT secondary schools offer post-16 courses: Howard of Effingham, Oxted School and Three Rivers Academy. Staff and students at each school have much to celebrate.
Our results highlights include:
Howard of Effingham saw celebrated another year of impressive results:
- 35% of students achieved grade A* to A
- 66% achieved A*-B
- 87* achieved A*-C
- 100% of BTEC Extended Certificate results were Distinction*, Distinction or Merit
Students at Oxted School successfully secured their next steps:
- 99% of young people can now proceed to their chosen next step
- 78% of young people have received their first choice of university
- 30 students have secured a place at a Russell Group University
Three Rivers Academy enjoyed their best ever results:
Congratulations staff and students at Three Rivers Academy.
- The proportion of A* to B grades has risen from 39% to 44%
- Almost a quarter of grades awarded at A* or A
- 100% of students studying vocational qualifications achieved at least a Pass – 45% achieved a Distinction* or Distinction
